GP MaTe 5.0 Release GP MaTe Available as ASP Service GP MaTe 5.0 Release GP Solutions’s latest upgrade for GP MaTe™ is 5.0. This release incorporates many "behind the scenes" enhancements that will support future development for the GP MaTe product. GP MaTe 5.0 includes many exciting new features, including: Ad-Hoc Reporting: Users can quickly generate reports once, or save for future generation. Calibration Tracking: Calibrates and documents recalibration of equipment at regular intervals. Indexing: Reduces the time of report generation against larger databases from minutes to a couple of seconds. Crystal Report Record Selections: Users can also change the selection criteria for a report without modifying the Crystal Report definition. Compatibility with UniData Version 5.x: GP Solutions provides upgrades to the UniData database. Two major features are native support for http, which means easier integration with Internet services, and language sets to support double byte (e.g., Chinese) and European characters. Enhanced Management of Change Module: Supports layers of checkoff sheets to ensure that MOC Actions are completed. Also archives activities for future referencing or auditing. Floating Menu/Tool Bars: Users may now set up customized tool bars to reduce the need to search through cascading menus to find common actions. Project Budgeting: The Account Code Budgeting Module now includes the ability to budget projects and account codes. Mandatory Procedures: Users can attach mandatory procedures, such as tag-out or confined space permits, to equipment records automatically. E-Procurement: The Enhanced Purchasing Module now supports "Punch Outs" so users can access online procurement sites, such as Commerce One. GP MaTe then automatically creates a purchase requisition. Change History: Users flag tables within GP MaTe to trap all changes made by users while using the software. Back to top GP MaTe is now available as an ASP Application GP Solutions is now offering GP MaTe over the Internet as an Application Service Provider. In this approach, the customer contracts with GP Solutions to host the GP MaTe application on centralized servers. This approach greatly reduces the initial investment required to setup the application and hardware at the customer site. Reduced requirements for customer IT support is another benefit. The ASP approach for providing GP MaTe to our customers is ideal for medium sized companies that do not want to invest in computer hardware and on site support personnel. The costs are considerably less than a typical purchase of the software, and the application can be easily configured to support multiple work flow requirements.
